We hired a campervan from New Zealand Frontiers for 3 weeks in January this year. The booking process couldn't have been simpler with easy-to-understand booking conditions. It's a small company offering a personal service. Prior to our trip Kenrick, the owner, answered my many planning questions promptly and informatively which helped enormously with organising our trip. He met us at the port in Auckland and gave a short tour of the city before a full briefing of the campervan. We were soon confidently on the road armed with satnav, maps and a 24/7 hotline number. NZF also made the ferry crossing for us from North to South Island and kept us informed when the ferry company changed the sail times. The fully self-contained campervan was a dream to drive and had so many additional features that we could have freedom camped the whole trip. We were able to boil a kettle, make toast and use the coffee machine all off grid which was very useful particularly when we had a long days drive. Our whole trip went remarkably easily and Kenrick was waiting at Christchurch Airport for us to hand back the van at the end which meant we didn't have to find a hotel at the end nor find transport out for the flight home. We had an amazing once in a lifetime trip would thoroughly recommend using New Zealand Frontiers.
